CREATE THE CONNECTION!

You never get a second chance to make a first impression. How many times have you heard that?

Here are our brief tips to help you create an emotional connection between the viewers and your home.

And if you’re not looking to create the attachment then our tips are great anyway!

Kerb Appeal

Buyers have already judged your property before they go through the front door.
Make sure it has kerb appeal and sets the tone right from the start. Tidy up the front of the house.
Get the power-washer out, clean the windows, replace any cracked glass, weed the flowerbeds, tidy up the driveway.
Painting the front door and changing the accessories can transform the front of the property!
Removing net curtains is always a good idea.

DIY & The Little Jobs

Do all the little jobs around the house that you’ve been putting off:

Tightening handles, replacing bulbs, reg-routing the shower. There’s always a list o jobs that you know need to be done but never seem to have the time to do them.

We can help with these using one or (hopefully not) all of our panel of recommended contractors.

De-clutter, then de-clutter again

Hopefully you’ll be moving soon so now is a great time to get packing. Most viewers like to see family life over sterile atmospheres or staged homes. That said, boxes anywhere and everywhere aren’t a great idea.

Kitchen & Bathrooms..

The most important rooms your buyers will see.

Sparkling, working and nice to look at. They don’t need to be brand new or covered in the latest stone from who knows where. But, as we spend so much time in the kitchen, it should be really clean, inviting and a nice place to spend time.

Same goes for the bathrooms – re-grout, reseal, fix any wonky tiles, replace mouldy blinds, shower curtains and broken shower heads.

Here’s a kitchen we like ->

Get that Garden Going

If you have a back garden, it’s always a good idea to do that up too. Create inviting imagery in viewer’s minds with some cafe chairs, tables, and some fresh flowers in a vase for good measure.

Viewers can envision themselves sitting out on a warm morning, sipping a coffee in the fresh air…sounds appealing, doesn’t it?
